Physical Therapist - Outpatient Ortho

Employment Type: Full-time, In-person

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000

Position Summary:

Provides direct orthopedic care to adolescents, adults, and older adults, with pediatric care required for some specialized roles. Uses a range of orthopedic physical therapy techniques to help individuals achieve maximum function, independence, and pain relief. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your orthopedic expertise and skills every day to provide excellent care.
  • Provide physical therapy treatments and care according to rules and professional standards.
  • Supervise and guide physical therapist assistants and technicians, making sure tasks are done well.
  • Help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through orthopedic therapy.
  • Support a culture of patient safety and personalized care that aligns with the hospital’s mission.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited bachelor's or master’s program in physical therapy and specialized experience in orthopedic therapy.
  • Must have Active state licensure or certification in physical therapy.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
  • CPR certification is preferred unless the hospital’s policy states otherwise.
  • Strong skills in orthopedic physical therapy, including evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment, are required.
  • Good communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers are necessary.
