Part-Time Physical Therapist for an Orthopedic Outpatient Office in Hackensack, NJ!

Job Description:


As a Physical Therapist, you will perform supervisory duties and evaluations on patients and help them improve basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also compensate for permanent loss of function by teaching them to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments

Job Type: Part-time position

Work Schedule: 1-2 days in a week (9AM-6PM or 10AM-7PM)

Salary: $65-$70 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for assigned patients.
  • Demonstrate various treatment techniques and approaches.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the clinical supervisor to organize and manage unit activities.
  • Educate patients on rehabilitation exercises and strategies for recovery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
  • Active License as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least 2 years' Experience in Rehabilitation, Patient care, and clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current Physical Therapy practices and techniques.
  • Proficient in manual therapy techniques.
