Job Summary: We are currently seeking licensed Physical Therapists in California to join our innovative team in a part-time, hybrid role that includes both remote monitoring services and direct patient care within our client's innovative pain clinics. Performs initial examinations and provides physical therapy intervention to a diverse patient population. This position is entry-level and part of a multi-disciplinary team, and has the opportunity to rotate across inpatient, outpatient and acute services.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 a year

Schedule: 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs initial examinations, establishes appropriate goals, plans and implements treatment interventions, performs timely re-examinations and modifies goals and treatment interventions accordingly. Coordinates with other disciplines when indicated.
  • Assumes responsibility for all documentation requirements in a timely manner, i.e., initial examinations, progress notes, monthly summaries and discharge summaries.
  • Provides training to families or care partners and medical personnel as indicated.
  • Recommends appropriate durable medical equipment in coordination with appropriate team members. Writes letters of medical necessity when indicated.
  • Participates in discharge planning, makes recommendations for continued physical therapy and provides home exercise programs when appropriate.
  • Attends all appropriate conferences, rounds, inservices and meetings.
  • Will be assigned additional patients in the event that coverage is necessary as dictated by staffing needs.
  • Attends clinics as assigned.
  • Maintains therapy attendance records, patient charges and statistics.
  • Participates in the supervision of Rehab Patient Care Associates, volunteers, and students.
  • Must follow all MSH policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate).
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • High proficiency in using digital health tools, strong communication abilities, and adept at patient and staff management.
  • Demonstrated skills in motivational wellness coaching, mindset optimization, and the integration of holistic therapies into patient care.
