Job Summary: We are currently seeking licensed Physical Therapists in California to join our innovative team in a part-time, hybrid role that includes both remote monitoring services and direct patient care within our client's innovative pain clinics. This unique position combines digital health responsibilities with in-clinic interactions, offering professionals a dynamic environment to influence the future of pain management.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 a year

Schedule: 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with physician orders, assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results. Deliver in-person and remote consultations and treatments based on comprehensive evaluations.
  • Therapeutic Planning: Design effective home exercise programs following discharge, ensuring continuous care and optimal patient recovery. Customize RTM plans in collaboration with pain doctors and healthcare teams, leveraging real-time data from the FitCam Health Console.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough, confidential patient records documenting clinical interventions, responses, progress, and discharge summaries. Ensure all documentation and RTM interactions comply with HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Patient Education and Communication: Educate and engage patients on effective pain management and therapy adherence through direct instruction and digital platforms. Provide guidance in self-care, holistic therapies, meditation, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Supervisory Duties: Supervise and direct assistants and aides involved in patient care; ensure quality and compliance of their work.
  • Charge Recording and Administrative Duties: Record treatment charges accurately and promptly. Manage administrative tasks and maintain professional standards in all clinic and remote interactions.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate).
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • High proficiency in using digital health tools, strong communication abilities, and adept at patient and staff management.
  • Demonstrated skills in motivational wellness coaching, mindset optimization, and the integration of holistic therapies into patient care.
