Medisphere Wellness Center Seeks Physical Therapist

Medisphere Wellness Center is looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to become part of our team. This position is essential for delivering effective rehabilitation services and supporting patients in achieving their health and mobility goals.

Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 per year
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per day
Insurance Mix: Medicare & Major Medical Commercial Insurances
Team Structure: 3 Physical Therapists, 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, 4 Rehab Techs

• Neck Pain
• Osteoarthritis

Types of Patients:

• Young Adults to Geriatric Patients (21 years old to 85+ years old)

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs through thorough evaluations to develop effective treatment plans.
• Deliver targeted interventions that focus on improving mobility and reducing discomfort.
• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
• Track patient outcomes and modify treatment strategies as required.
• Keep precise records of all treatment procedures and patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Current New York Physical Therapist License.
• DPT Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.
• Proficient in manual therapy methods and therapeutic exercise.
• Competence with EMR software (e.g., WebPT).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Commitment to furthering education and professional skills.
