Job Summary: We are currently seeking licensed Physical Therapists in Maryland to join our innovative team in a part-time, hybrid role that includes both remote monitoring services and direct patient care within our client's innovative pain clinics. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 a year

Schedule: 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs initial examinations, establishes appropriate goals, plans and implements treatment interventions, performs timely re-examinations and modifies goals and treatment interventions accordingly. Coordinates with other disciplines when indicated.
• Assumes responsibility for all documentation requirements in a timely manner, i.e., initial examinations, progress notes, monthly summaries and discharge summaries.
• Provides training to families or care partners and medical personnel as indicated.
• Recommends appropriate durable medical equipment in coordination with appropriate team members. Writes letters of medical necessity when indicated.
• Participates in discharge planning, makes recommendations for continued physical therapy and provides home exercise programs when appropriate.
• Attends all appropriate conferences, rounds, inservices and meetings.
• Will be assigned additional patients in the event that coverage is necessary as dictated by staffing needs.
• Attends clinics as assigned.
• Maintains therapy attendance records, patient charges and statistics.
• Participates in the supervision of Rehab Patient Care Associates, volunteers, and students.
• Must follow all MSH policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate).
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• High proficiency in using digital health tools, strong communication abilities, and adept at patient and staff management.
• Demonstrated skills in motivational wellness coaching, mindset optimization, and the integration of holistic therapies into patient care.
