Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist shall demonstrate the clinical ability to evaluate patients’ functional status, plan, implement and document individual therapeutic programs. The Physical Therapist performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Performs initial examinations and provides physical therapy intervention to a diverse patient population.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 a year

Schedule: 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implementing effective physical therapy programs using a variety of techniques, such as exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them increase their mobility.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Educating patients and their families about their conditions and teaching them appropriate exercises and techniques to aid in their recovery process.
  • Regularly re-evaluating patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and providing regular updates to the healthcare team.
  • Adhering to all company policies and regulations, as well as professional and ethical standards in physical therapy.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in physical therapy to ensure the provision of the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to develop effective treatment plans.
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a strong commitment to improving patients' quality of life.
  • The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently when necessary.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to assist patients with physical exercises and movements.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology for patient documentation and communication.
