Full-Time Physical Therapist Needed
We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient clinic. In this role, you will assess patients' physical conditions and design personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, and restoring their prior level of function. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Your ability to build rapport with patients will enhance their experience and adherence to treatment. Regular assessments will allow you to adjust plans as needed, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. By fostering a supportive environment, you will empower patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
Salary:
- $90,000 - $115,000 per year plus full benefits
- Assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Create and implement individualized treatment programs that address patients’ specific needs and goals.
- Ensure high-quality treatment through evaluations, treatment planning, patient education, and safety procedures.
- Track patients’ progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their response to therapy.
- Advise patients and families on in-home treatment options and exercises.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Keep current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in physical therapy through ongoing education and training.
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New York state Physical Therapy license.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
