Full-Time Physical Therapist Needed

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. In this position, you will assess and treat residents experiencing physical limitations, working towards improving their mobility and quality of life. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop customized treatment plans that support each resident’s recovery goals and enhance their daily functioning.

Salary:
  • $100,000-$130,000 per year (depending on experience) with full benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Patient Volume: 1-2 patient per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents’ physical capabilities and limitations through detailed assessments, using standardized tools to identify specific needs.
  • Create tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating residents’ goals and preferences to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
  • Administer evidence-based therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
  • Regularly assess residents’ progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and address any emerging challenges.
  • Works with the referring physician for individual needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Virginia state license as Physical Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
  • No disciplinary actions or board actions on license.
  • New grads are welcome to apply!
