We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility. In this essential role, you will evaluate and treat patients with various physical impairments, focusing on improving their mobility and overall quality of life. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans that cater to each resident’s specific needs, playing a crucial role in their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
SALARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility. In this essential role, you will evaluate and treat patients with various physical impairments, focusing on improving their mobility and overall quality of life. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans that cater to each resident’s specific needs, playing a crucial role in their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
SALARY:
- $90,000 - $115,000 a year with full benefits
- Monday - Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to identify physical impairments, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and residents’ goals, ensuring alignment with overall care plans.
- Regularly assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Massachusetts state license as Physical Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain treatment plans and motivate patients.
- Ability to lift and assist residents, and to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking.
- Efficiently managing a caseload and prioritizing tasks to ensure quality care for all patients.
