Full-time Physical Therapist in Eden, Texas

The primary purpose of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 per year + benefits (Full-Time)

Job Duties :

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Teach patients and their families how to properly perform exercises and activities to promote recovery and improve mobility
  • Document patient progress, including changes in condition, treatment plan, and goals, and communicate updates to other healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate care with other medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and speech therapists, to ensure the most effective treatment is being delivered
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and self-care techniques to reduce the chances of relapse or recurring injuries
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with state and national regulations.

Requirements:

  • Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
  • Current and valid license granted from state of employment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger healthcare team
  • Ability to read and interpret physician orders and implement treatment according to orders
  • A passion for helping patients achieve their best possible outcomes, through compassionate care and evidence-based treatment
