Full-time Physical Therapist in Los Angeles, California

We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist in a full-time position requiring treatments rendered at our Orthopedic Outpatient Office in California. The ideal candidate will provide feedback, develop training materials, assist in audits, and answer inquiries on documentation and EMR best practices.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate patients and interpret examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction relative to persons limited by medical problems, birth defects, or health-related conditions to restore their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives
  • Establishes the plan of care to achieve established goals relative to age, medical history, and dysfunction
  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
  • Document patient care following regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
  • Handle job responsibilities under the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws

Requirements:

  • Physical therapy licensure in good standing in the State of California (required)
  • National Provider Identifier
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Experience in orthopedic/sports rehab and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Knowledge of evidence-based exercises and ability to develop programs for all ability levels and comorbidities
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
