Physical Therapist in San Mateo, California

Are you an experienced Physical Therapist looking for a full-time position in an Outpatient Office? We strive to foster an atmosphere where our patients feel safe, welcome, and confident in their treatment.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate patients and interpret examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction relative to persons limited by medical problems, birth defects, or health-related conditions to restore their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives
  • Establishes the plan of care to achieve established goals relative to age, medical history, and dysfunction
  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
  • Document patient care following regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current California State licensure for the practice of physical therapy
  • National Provider Identifier
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Experience in orthopedic/sports rehab and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Knowledge of evidence-based exercises and ability to develop programs for all ability levels and comorbidities
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
