Now Hiring: Physical Therapist – Assisted Living Facility in Springfield, Oregon
Calling all Physical Therapists (PTs)! We have an immediate opening in an assisted living facility in Oregon. In this full-time role, you will design and implement personalized therapy plans to help senior residents improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits
What You’ll Do:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess residents' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, balance, and daily function.
- Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to enhance physical performance.
- Provide pain management techniques and support fall prevention strategies.
- Monitor and document residents' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation exercises and techniques for continued improvement.
- Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and physicians to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapy license in California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in geriatric or assisted living settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mobility enhancement, pain management, and fall prevention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards.
