Full-time Physical Therapist in Fernley, Nevada

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team. In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical procedures, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training for optimal outcomes.
  • Treat one patient per hour without the use of techs or aides, ensuring focused, quality care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in a structured mentorship program with a fellowship-trained therapist to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Master’s (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Nevada (required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
