Full-time Sports Physical Therapist in Jackpot, Nevada

We are seeking a skilled Sports Physical Therapist to join our sports medicine outpatient clinic. In this full-time role, you will work with athletes of all levels, from recreational to competitive, helping them prevent injuries, recover from orthopedic conditions, and enhance performance.

You will provide one-on-one patient care, free from techs or aides, ensuring each individual receives personalized, high-quality treatment. Additionally, you will benefit from mentorship by a fellowship-trained therapist as part of a structured program designed to enhance your expertise and foster professional growth.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations for athletes with acute and chronic sports-related injuries.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote recovery and optimize performance.
  • Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and sport-specific training to enhance function.
  • Provide one-on-one patient care, ensuring individualized attention and superior outcomes.
  • Collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, and physicians to design and modify rehab programs.
  • Use sport-specific injury prevention techniques and return-to-play protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in a formal mentorship program with a fellowship-trained therapist for skill development.

Requirements:

  • Master’s (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Nevada (required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sports or orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
  • Experience with sports rehabilitation protocols and return-to-sport programs.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy and functional training techniques.
  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary sports medicine teams.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
