Full-Time Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic (Independence, Missouri)

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team. In this full-time role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical procedures, and musculoskeletal conditions.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patient recovery.
  • Treat one patient per hour without the use of techs or aides, ensuring high-quality, focused care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to develop coordinated treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in a formal mentorship program with a fellowship-trained therapist to support professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Missouri (required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based care environment.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
