Now Hiring: Physical Therapist – Assisted Living Facility in St. Peters, Missouri

We have an open position for a Physical Therapist in an Assisted Living Facility. In this full-time role, you will assess, treat, and support senior residents with mobility challenges, helping them enhance their physical function and quality of life. Your expertise will play a vital role in reducing pain, preventing injury, and promoting independence.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform thorough physical assessments to evaluate residents’ strength, range of motion, and balance.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, flexibility, and physical function.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques, including stretching, strengthening exercises, and balance training.
  • Apply pain management interventions to enhance comfort and quality of life.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on mobility strategies, safe transfers, and fall prevention.
  • Monitor, record, and update progress notes and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and medical staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Promote physical wellness programs to encourage ongoing activity and prevent decline.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Missouri.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in assisted living, geriatric care, or rehabilitation settings.
  • Proficiency in mobility therapy, fall prevention, and pain management.
  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
