Physical Therapist (PT) – Orthopedic Outpatient

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Estero, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient team. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess the patient’s physical abilities, range of motion and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, and strength, and reducing pain.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
  • Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active and valid Physical Therapy license in Florida.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient or sports rehab setting is preferred.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and knowledge of evidence-based orthopedic practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
