Physical Therapist (PT) – Orthopedic Outpatient

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Stuart, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, and range of motion.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting each patient’s unique rehabilitation needs.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
  • Apply modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy when appropriate.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with clinic protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active and valid PT license in Florida.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic or sports rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
