Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient | Los Angeles, California

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $100,000 to $140,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

Attention all Physical Therapists! We have an open opportunity in our outpatient orthopedic practice. Join our dedicated team in California and work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and chronic orthopedic conditions. You will provide individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, improving function, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
  • Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to promote recovery.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and self-care techniques.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapist license in California.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
  • 2+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred (new graduates with clinical experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
