Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient | Los Angeles, California
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $100,000 to $140,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
Attention all Physical Therapists! We have an open opportunity in our outpatient orthopedic practice. Join our dedicated team in California and work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and chronic orthopedic conditions. You will provide individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, improving function, and enhancing overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to promote recovery.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and self-care techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist license in California.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
- 2+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred (new graduates with clinical experience are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and evidence-based practices.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
