Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Ashland, Oregon
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Oregon. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, managing pain, and enhancing the overall physical function of residents. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support residents in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Our Assisted Living Facility (ALF) offers an environment where seniors receive personalized support and therapy services to promote mobility, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents' physical capabilities and therapy needs.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, and balance.

Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive device training.

Educate residents, families, and staff on safe mobility practices and home exercise programs.

Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation under facility and regulatory standards.
Requirements:

Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Oregon.

Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.

Experience: Previous experience in an assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of rehabilitative techniques and geriatric care protocols.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
