Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
Looking to hire a Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our new outpatient clinic. You will work in an orthopedic practice, providing care to a wide range of patients, which will include athletes and adults with a wide range of pathologies from the spine to the extremities and jaw. In this setting, you will be working with patients from the initial date of injury, post-operative, to patients suffering from chronic pathologies.

Patients Volume: 5-7 patients per day
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, post-treatment care, and wellness strategies.

Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:

Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting (new graduates with clinical rotations in orthopedics are welcome to apply).

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
