Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist – Orthopedic

Location: Chula Vista, California
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $100,000 to $125,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are actively looking to hire an experienced and fully competent Physical Therapist who has expertise in evaluating and developing treatment plans for more complex patients and for a wide variety of ages and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and within Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines

  • Provides quality patient care, including screening and evaluation of patients, development of initial and ongoing treatment plans of care and discharge plans, supervision of assistants and Rehab Techs, and case management responsibilities

  • Maintains professional conduct that represents Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service in all interactions with clients, including positive levels of interaction and rapport with facilities and clients

  • Adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist with the State of California is required

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required

  • Ability to operate PT equipment safely and perform basic functional evaluations is required.

  • Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public, and other health care providers while demonstrating excellent customer service is required.
