Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist – Orthopedic

Location: Olympia, Washington
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for providing skilled physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents' physical capabilities and identify therapy goals.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further decline.

  • Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, balance training, and functional mobility interventions.

  • Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility techniques and home exercise programs.

  • Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with facility regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy program (B.S., M.S., D.P.T. or certificate in Physical Therapy). Training and Experience

  • Prefer at least 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist with work experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and/or outpatient environments.

  • A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a registered physical therapist is preferred.

  • Must be able to provide care for people in a variety of settings, including outpatient and acute care.

  • Knowledge of, and adherence to, the Physical Therapy Practice Act for the state of Washington, and the Code of Ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association.

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Washington required.

  • Current BLS HCP verification.
