Job Opening: Licensed Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $75, 000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are expanding and looking for a skilled Physical Therapist who is passionate about orthopedic care, movement science, and patient-centered treatment. In this role, you'll evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions, working one-on-one to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.

Who are we looking for?
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license (or eligible)
- Graduate of an accredited DPT program
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, rehab protocols, and musculoskeletal anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice
- 1+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports rehab
- Training or certification in manual therapy, dry needling, SFMA, McKenzie, Graston, or similar techniques
- Interest or experience in treating athletes or active adults
- Familiarity with EMR and modern clinic technology

What you will do:
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions, including acute injuries, post-op cases, and chronic pain
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and functional goals
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modality-based treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, athletic trainers, and other providers
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
- Accurately document evaluations, daily progress, and discharge notes in our EHR system
- Contribute to clinic growth through patient engagement and positive word-of-mouth
