Job Opening: Licensed Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic

Location: Vienna, Virginia

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $75, 000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are expanding and looking for a skilled Physical Therapist who is passionate about orthopedic care, movement science, and patient-centered treatment. In this role, you'll evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions, working one-on-one to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.

Who are we looking for?

  • Active Virginia Physical Therapist license (or eligible)
  • Graduate of an accredited DPT program
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, rehab protocols, and musculoskeletal anatomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice
  • 1+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports rehab
  • Training or certification in manual therapy, dry needling, SFMA, McKenzie, Graston, or similar techniques
  • Interest or experience in treating athletes or active adults
  • Familiarity with EMR and modern clinic technology

What you will do:

  • Evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions, including acute injuries, post-op cases, and chronic pain
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and functional goals
  • Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modality-based treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, athletic trainers, and other providers
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
  • Accurately document evaluations, daily progress, and discharge notes in our EHR system
  • Contribute to clinic growth through patient engagement and positive word-of-mouth
