Physical Therapist – Opportunity in California
Location: Brentwood, California| Specialty: Orthopedic | Employment Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Outpatient (Monday–Friday, 9AM- 5PM)
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 per year + benefits

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in restoring function and improving the overall quality of life for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You’ll assess, treat, and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey while working in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals.

Job Duties:
- Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess movement, strength, range of motion, and physical limitations related to orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
- Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to create customized rehabilitation plans based on their goals, medical history, and physical capabilities.
- Implement Treatment: Use evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and neuromuscular re-education techniques.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on their conditions, expected recovery timelines, and provide them with home exercise programs and lifestyle modification strategies.
- Track Progress: Monitor patient progress through functional outcomes, modifying treatment as necessary to ensure maximum recovery.
- Collaborate with a Team: Work closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal, integrated care.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all patient interactions and treatments, adhering to clinic policies and state regulations.
- Stay Current: Participate in ongoing professional development and education, attending workshops, seminars, and training to stay at the forefront of orthopedic rehabilitation.
Candidate Profile:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Current and valid California Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Proven experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
- High level of organizational skills, with attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification.
- Experience in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with modalities such as dry needling, ultrasound therapy, and other advanced orthopedic treatments.
- Additional certifications in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or pain management are a plus.
