Job Opportunity: Full-Time Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Office (Texas)

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000/year

Location: San Antonio , Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist with a passion for helping patients recover and regain their mobility? Join our dynamic, patient-centered orthopedic outpatient clinic in Texas! We’re seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive environment.

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process by assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients dealing with orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations and assessments to determine the most effective treatment strategies.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs, goals, and capabilities.
  • Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, and patient education.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educating patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery.
  • Documenting patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements and clinic policies.
  • Providing guidance and support to patients to encourage engagement and adherence to their treatment plan.
  • Assisting with outreach, community education, and workshops to promote the clinic’s services and foster relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Licensing/Certification: A valid Texas State Physical Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings (new grads with strong orthopedic internships are also encouraged to apply).
  • Skills: Proficiency in orthopedic evaluation techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
  • Personality: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of modern physical therapy technologies, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
