Physical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location: McLean , Virginia

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We’re seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services, design individualized treatment plans, and lead residents toward improved physical health and autonomy. This role is ideal for a therapist who values clinical autonomy, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a significant impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical function, mobility, and rehabilitation potential
• Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic techniques and guide patients through exercises and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress, collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy teams
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic goals and home exercises
• Document treatments and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in SNF, subacute rehab, or similar settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Medicare documentation and rehab compliance standards
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for improving quality of life
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
