Now Hiring: Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facilities | Texas

Frisco , Texas| Full-Time | Orthopedic Focus

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM


Role Overview:

As a Physical Therapist working in SNFs, you will play a key role in helping residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary care team focused on improving function, reducing falls, and maximizing independence through evidence-based rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess residents' physical function and mobility
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans and treatment goals
  • Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions focused on strength, balance, gait training, and functional mobility
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and occupational/speech therapists to provide comprehensive care
  • Document all treatments and patient progress in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on mobility strategies and safety techniques

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Texas Physical Therapy license
  • Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and chronic condition management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
  • Familiarity with Medicare documentation and billing
  • Certifications in geriatrics, balance, or fall prevention (optional)
