Job Title: Physical Therapist – Assisted Living Facility (Oregon)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Location: Redmond , Oregon
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist in our assisted living facility, you will design and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents improve mobility, manage chronic conditions, and maintain their independence. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing residents’ functional abilities and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents’ physical abilities and needs
- Develop and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercise, balance training, and gait improvement
- Monitor and document residents’ progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate residents and families about exercises, safety, and injury prevention
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations and facility policies
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted Oregon Physical Therapist license
- Experience in geriatric physical therapy or rehab in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work compassionately with elderly residents
- Excellent clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
