Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity in Windsor, CO – Pediatrics

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional care to children with diverse diagnoses. In this role, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative team, focusing on personalized interventions and supporting children’s development in a warm and supportive environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized treatment plans created by a licensed Physical Therapist, targeting both short- and long-term goals, with active involvement from caregivers.
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions within the child’s natural environment, ensuring progress toward functional goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care that leads to the best outcomes for each child.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of treatment sessions, progress, and patient status, adhering to medical and organizational standards.
  • Use clinical judgment to ensure a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited institution.
  • Current Colorado state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (CO).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience with EMR software (e.g., WebPT).
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to guide and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
