Job Opportunity: Pediatric Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Wells, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will work with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, to help them improve their physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. You will assess, treat, and develop individualized therapy plans for children with a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental disorders.

Who are we looking for?

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

  • Current Nevada state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred.

  • Passion for working with children and helping them achieve developmental milestones.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in an understandable way to families.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.

What you will do:

  • Assess and evaluate the physical needs of pediatric patients through age-appropriate testing and observation.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility.

  • Work collaboratively with families, teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Educate families and caregivers on exercises, stretches, and other home activities to support therapy progress.

  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

  • Stay current with the latest pediatric therapy techniques and research.

  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to further professional development.
