Full-time Dermatology Physician Assistant Wanted at Vibrant Skin Experts in High Point, NC

We are looking to add a full-time experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant to our busy practice.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with patients of all ages while providing medical dermatology care that encompasses a wide range of physical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of dermatological disorders.

Responsibilities will include taking medical histories, performing examinations, ordering laboratory tests, and developing a treatment plan for patient care while working collaboratively with the physician. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Normal business hours

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations for dermatology patients of all ages.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs and established medical protocols.
  • Perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C with precision and skill.
  • Record evaluations, chart notes, and billing documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Educate and counsel patients on treatment options, procedures, and appropriate skincare.
  • Maintain effective communication with the physician and other providers, collaborating on patient care plans and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide general dermatology treatments and follow-up care to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dermatology through continuing medical education and professional development.

Essential Skills & Abilities: (included but not limited to)

  • Care for dermatology patients of all ages.
  • Deliver general dermatology treatments using established medical protocols.
  • Record evaluations, chart notes, and billing documentation in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and assist in implementing treatment plans as based on patient needs.
  • Consult and educate patients on procedures and recommend relevant products and services.
  • Maintain effective communication with other providers as well as support staff regarding patient care plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Multitasker with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and/or independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Experience:

  • A valid Physician Assistant state license is required. License must be in good standing with unrestricted ability to practice in place of work, where applicable.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program.
  • Current unrestricted State Medical License.
  • Annual continuing medical education as required by specialty.
  • Preferred one year experience in Medical Dermatology

Compensation:

  • Base salary with productivity bonus structure based on experience
