Full-Time (Specialty) Physician Assistant Position at AssistMed Innovations Community Health Center.

We are currently hiring a dedicated (Specialty) Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at AssistMed Innovations Community Health Center. As an integral member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating health conditions while promoting proactive health practices. As a Physician Assistant (PA), you will actively support the work of our doctors, contributing to the facilitation of patients' recovery. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the guidance of a physician, providing care and encouragement to a diverse patient population.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a 5:00 pm shift

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and review medical records.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays.
  • Diagnose and treat various acute health conditions and illnesses.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for chronic diseases.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules.
  • Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures.
  • Oversee the overall health and well-being of patients.
  • Promote and encourage good health practices.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research.

Requirements:

  • Valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C).
  • DEA number is required.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or urgent care setting.
  • Expertise in primary care and acute care practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong ethical values and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Team spirit and a positive attitude for effective collaboration.
  • Patience and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and gain clinical experience.
