Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 annually

Job Description:

You will provide top-notch medical care, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment to our valued patients. Your contributions will extend to coordinating discharge planning with case management, collaborating on efforts to enhance cost-effectiveness and the quality of patient care, and accepting patient referrals from other physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as a consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on the needs of patients, medical staff, and hospital.
  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
  • Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant
  • Valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) of the state.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health or public health settings.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
  • DEA number is required
