Physician’s Assistant Needed In San Luis Obispo, California

As a Physician's Assistant, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care in a medical office setting. You will be responsible for taking patient histories, performing physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications, all under the supervision of a physician.

With a Master's degree and a valid PA-C license, you will leverage your premium skills in critical care and triage to enhance patient outcomes. Join our team to make a significant impact on patient health!

Job Duties:

  • Gathering patient medical histories and current symptoms
  • Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries
  • Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
  • Counseling patients on preventative care and lifestyle changes
  • Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program
  • Current licensure as Physician Assistant by the state of California
  • Board Certification as a Physician Assistant by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
  • Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
  • Professional competence and integrity, and ethical conduct of practice
  • Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
