Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time Opportunity in Monroe, New York

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team in New York. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional and compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Conduct initial patient consultations and follow-up visits, evaluating symptoms and medical histories.
  • Assist in the development and execution of treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle modifications.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up management.
  • Participate in rounds and case discussions, contributing to treatment planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor patient progress, document findings, and modify care plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medication adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • License: Valid and unrestricted New York State PA license.
  • Certification: Board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in primary care, internal medicine, or a specialty field preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
