Hiring Full-Time Physician Assistant

Position: Physician Assistant
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our expanding healthcare team in Maryland. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to patients. You will perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and promote preventive care, making a meaningful impact on patient health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
  • Perform minor procedures and assist in more complex medical interventions.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate electronic health records (EHR).
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based care protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Maryland PA license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • NCCPA certification (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or specialty practice.
  • Skilled in chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
