Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time Opportunity in Hanover Park, Illinois
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient clinic in Illinois. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in collaboration with supervising physicians, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a patient-centered environment
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits
Job Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging, and EKGs).
- Perform minor procedures as authorized by supervising physicians.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and health management strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant license in Illinois.
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Board certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- 2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient or primary care setting preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.
