Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient clinic in Texas. Your role is to provide comprehensive medical care in collaboration with supervising physicians, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
- Perform minor procedures and assist in more complex medical interventions.
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based care protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active Physician Assistant license in Texas.
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Board certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- 2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient or primary care setting preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.
