Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time Opportunity in San Mateo, California
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient clinic team. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is a dedicated clinician with strong diagnostic and clinical skills, committed to enhancing patient outcomes.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits
Job Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Educate patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in minor procedures and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Stay current with medical advancements through continuing education.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active and unrestricted California PA license.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- DEA certification.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in outpatient or primary care settings is preferred
