Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time Opportunity in Paradise Valley, Arizona

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to take front-line responsibility. As a Physician Assistant, you will manage all aspects of care for the service lines, including assessing hospital consultations, performing history and physical examinations, providing periprocedural management, assisting in the coordination of transfers, and being a leader in providing high-quality innovative care to patients and their families.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, and musculoskeletal issues.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and making specialist referrals.
  • Provide preventive care services, including screenings, vaccinations, and wellness counseling.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
  • Utilize evidence-based clinical practices to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-ups in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Arizona PA license.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • DEA license with prescriptive authority.
  • Experience in outpatient primary care, internal medicine, or chronic disease management preferred.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and thorough medical documentation skills.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
