Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Needed Urgent

Location: Clay , New York

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 per year + benefits

We are a dynamic healthcare practice dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our community. Our team of skilled professionals works together to create a supportive and nurturing environment for both our patients and staff. We are currently seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed by the physical therapist
  • Monitor and record patient progress, including improvements and setbacks
  • Educate and guide patients on exercises and self-care techniques
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling and patient intake
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained properly
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current and valid PTA licensure in the state of New York
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
