Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA) – Hospital Setting (Georgia)

Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant (PA) in our hospital, you will work closely with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Your role will also involve performing clinical procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled PA to make a tangible impact in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic workups.
- Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging studies).
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and healthcare teams.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments in accordance with medical protocols.
- Provide patient education on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Perform medical procedures such as wound suturing, joint injections, and other specialized procedures (as appropriate).
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR).
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain.
- Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting.
