Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physician Assistant to join our hospital-based medical team. In this vital role, you will work alongside physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist in surgical procedures (if applicable), inpatient rounds, and follow-ups.
  • Prescribe medications and provide patient and family education regarding health management and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate care transitions, discharge planning, and patient referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the NCCPA
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Hospital-based clinical experience strongly preferred (ICU, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Surgical preferred, depending on the specialty area).
  • BLS/ACLS certification (additional certifications may be required based on department).
  • Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
