Full-time/Part-time Dermatology Physician Assistants Wanted at Skin & Wound Care Dermatology in Arlington, TX

We currently have an opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our established practice. We provide quality care for our medical, surgical, and cosmetic patients.

We are staffed by some of the finest Board-Certified Dermatologists and Advanced Practitioners. Each of these skilled professionals brings his or her own unique expertise to the practice, offering our patients unparalleled access to leading-edge care for both clinical and cosmetic dermatology concerns. Our dermatologists work with each other, and with our highly qualified physician assistants and aesthetic specialists, to provide a comprehensive skincare plan for each of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing disorders and diseases of the skin.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
  • Propose treatments for skin disease, prescribing medications and recommending skin regimen as necessary.
  • Provide treatments and procedures as required, including excisions, laser surgery, cryotherapy, biopsies, I&Ds, skin cancer surgery, etc.
  • Perform injectable treatments and procedures as required, including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other cosmetic injectables.
  • Educate patients regarding treatments, procedures, and preventative skin care measures.
  • Demonstrate patience, compassion, and effective communication; promote teamwork, a positive atmosphere, and an efficient clinic flow.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in General and Cosmetic Dermatology required.
  • Extensive knowledge in dermatological disorders, skin cancer, excisional/surgical procedures, shave biopsies
  • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and with courtesy.
  • Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the practice.
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously.
  • Having a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $95,000. - $125,000 per year
