Full Time Physician Assistant for Dermatology in Delaware

We are a fast-pace and growing private dermatology group located in Delaware. We are expending and are looking for a self-motivated, and experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant to help grow our practice. Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the field of Dermatology but physician will train. This position is Full Time with room for growth.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Salary: $140k to $160k a year plus with full benefits.

Duties:

As a Primary Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate care
  • Manage patient care, including referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices

How to Qualify:

  • Valid "Given state" Physician Assistant license
  • 1+ yrs experience and ability to function as a provider. Support available, but you should be able to evaluate, inject, and manage complications.
  • PA-C required
  • Must have DEA number
  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities to include symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions
  • Skill in the use of computers and related software applications
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
  • Ability to counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests
