Full-Time Physician Assistant for Cardiology Practice in Augusta, Georgia

As a skilled advanced practice registered nurse, you will conduct physical examinations, interpret lab tests, and oversee patients' health. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 5:00 pm shift
Salary:
$140,000-$180,000 per year (salary range based on experience) + Full Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients and review medical records
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood tests and X-rays
- Diagnose and manage various cardiac health conditions and illnesses
- Propose appropriate treatment options for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications and monitor their efficacy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and schedules
- Provide clear explanations to patients regarding their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular diseases and preventive measures
- Oversee patients' overall cardiovascular health
- Promote healthy lifestyle practices to prevent heart diseases
- Continuously advance professional knowledge through research and scholarly activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, or cardiology setting
- Specialization or expertise in cardiology
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care and chronic care practices
- In-depth knowledge of health and patient care regulations, particularly in cardiology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Strong ethical values and commitment to providing high-quality care
- Team player with a positive attitude for effective collaboration
- Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Willingness to pursue continuous learning and gain clinical experience
- Valid Georgia State Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
- Must have DEA number
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant
